As our clothes closet operates year-round, our needs evolve with the seasons to meet the needs of men experiencing homelessness in Austin in real time. Our significant winter needs are running shoes of all sizes, jeans, coats, sweaters, hoodies, gloves, and knit caps.

Donations can be dropped off at Northwest Hills UMC, Manchaca UMC, Lake Travis UMC. Check the drop-off locations page for address and drop-off hours.

Additionally, our year-round needs include:

  • Backpacks or gym bags

  • Blue jeans and shorts

  • Shirts of all kinds (long-sleeve, short-sleeve, collared, t-shirt, etc.)

  • Underwear (must be new and in packaging — boxers or briefs)

  • Socks (must be new and in packaging)

  • Compression socks (must be new and in packaging)

  • Hoodies, sweaters, and other winter items

  • Belts

  • Baseball caps and hats

  • Hygiene kits

  • Reading glasses

  • Walking canes

Financial donations are processed through Northwest Hills United Methodist Church and are 100% tax-deductible. 100% of financial donations go directly toward purchasing clothing for people experiencing homelessness. Donations given by check can be sent to Northwest Hills UMC with “Clothes Closet” in the memo line.
